Donate your vehicle to Family & MWR

Leaving your vehicle abandoned on Fort Liberty can cause significant financial hardship and is an eyesore to the installation. Towing charges and storage fees become the responsibility of the titled owner and can be submitted to the IRS for collection.

To avoid abandoned vehicle fees and keep our post clean, you can donate your vehicle to Fort Liberty Family & MWR.

The Auto Skills Center can accept your donated vehicle. Please bring the vehicle title complete with seller’s notarized signature. Donation paperwork will be filled out on site.

For more information or to begin the donation process please call Auto Skills at +1 (910)394-2293 or stop by Auto Skills located on Fort Liberty (Pope) at 794 Stiner Road, BLDG 454. Family & MWR will tow your inoperative vehicle from anywhere on post at no fee when you donate your car. There are no fees for donating a vehicle to Family & MWR and your donation is tax deductible under section 170(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Dollars generated from donated vehicles are used to fund Family & MWR activities that support Soldiers and their Families.
