Conquer the Watzmann

Climb the 3rd highest mountain in Germany!

#

Conquer one of Germany's most famous mountains!

Towering over the town of Berchtesgaden, the Watzman stands at an intimidating 2,713m. This is the third tallest mountain in Germany and is named after King Watzmann, who's legend states he was turned to stone along with his family to overlook the area forever.

On this trip Wild B.O.A.R. will spend two days hiking to extreme heights, tackling over 14 miles in two days. The terrain includes trails, klettersteig elements (cabled routes), and rocky crossings. During this event we will sleep in a COED alpine hut, similar to a hostel.

**Participants must be 18+, PHYSICALLY FIT, comfortable with heights and capable for hiking for more than five hours in challenging terrain. Lodging for this trip is COED at an alpine hut.
