Take a spin on exhilarating carnival rides, raise a toast in the lively beer tents, and indulge in a culinary adventure with German and American specialties. Discover the rich history of both countries' militaries through fascinating equipment displays. Explore unique retail booths and let loose to the sounds of music and dancing.

Entrance into the fest is free. Food, beverages and rides are available for purchase.

Entry Information:

Access to the installation: 100% identification check of all occupants will occur. Occupants over the age of 16 must provide an authorized government issued photo ID to the guard to be allowed entry. Children under the age of 16 will be granted access if accompanied by a family member or legal guardian of legal age (18).

The following documents are authorized for access:
Valid passports/Valid personal ID card from 28 European Union countries
Installation pass/DBIDS card
Department of Defense identification cards
Temporary German ID

The following documents are not authorized:
Travel documents
U.S. passport card
Driver's licenses
Residence permits
Refugee IDs/Substitute ID
Fake/manipulated ID cards

Prohibited Items:

Large bags, including rucksacks or backpacks (diaper bags will be allowed). No larger than 20cm x 20cm x 30cm.

Any/all weapons, to include knives or any type of cutting device or multi-tool (chainsaw/knives/tools), impact weapons, air soft guns, any type of chemical irritants (pepper spray).

Beverage containers of any type to include water bottles, alcoholic (canned or bottled), energy drinks, soda, etc. (excludes baby bottles/formula)

Any non-prescription drugs and/or drug paraphernalia.

Any type of fireworks or incendiary devices.

Any type of cooler or picnic basket.

Additional Information:

• No bicycles on the fest ground allowed, must be left in the parking area.
• Please bring enough cash for purchases as card payments are not accepted everywhere on the festival grounds. Both Dollars and Euros are accepted throughout the fest.
