Join Army Community Service throughout October for activities and events that increase awareness and prevention of Domestic Violence between intimate partners.
 

October 8: Bystander Training, 1:30-3:30 p.m.
Tower View Conference Center, B209 Tower Barracks
Learn about the bystander effect and ways that you can help when you see violence in our community.

October 9: Navigating Parenting, 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Army Community Service, B322 Rose Barracks
Assisting families with developing adaptive parenting skills that support children in each stage of development.

October 10: Beyond the Book: The Five Love Languages, 3-4 p.m.
Army Community Service, B322 Rose Barracks
Enjoy reading while meeting new people and having a great conversation about building healthy relationships.

October 19: ACS Super Saturday, 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

 • Put It Into Perspective - Stop catastrophic thinking, reduce anxiety and improve problem solving by identifying the Worst, Best and Most Likely outcome of a situation.
 • Growth through Change - Learn about the four different phases of change and determine strategies for positively managing change in your personal and professional life.
 • Art Relaxation - Get your creativity going to help you talk about stress and learn practical skills to unwind.

A two-part program with in class guidance to help your family get organized, reduce stress and promote healthy living.

October 25: It Takes Two, 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
B224, Conference Room, Rose Barracks
Join other couples for an interactive, fun day to learn better communication and listening skills essential for developing and maintaining a positive relationship.
