Have you ever wanted to learn how to throw on the potter’s wheel? Join us at the Arts and Crafts Center on Rose Barracks for this introductory course on wheel throwing. This course teaches the basics of ceramics while getting you comfortable with using clay as an art form. During this four-week course you will learn about wedging clay, centering on the wheel and different altering techniques while working on the potter’s wheel.
Session Dates: Thursdays: May 11, 18, 25 & June 1.
Cost
$135 per person, paid in full on first day of class. Fee includes clay, glazing, firing and instruction.
Registration Information
Register by May 5. Open to U.S. ID card holders ages 16+ (ages 16-17 need parent present). Class limited to six participants, must have three registered at a minimum.
