The popular Mädler Passage in the inner city is not to be missed, nor the famous St. Thomas Church where Bach served as a musical director. The great composers who lived and worked in Leipzig could fill a canon of musical history: Johann Sebastian Bach, Clara Schumann, Richard Wagner, Felix Mendelssohn and many more.
