Tax Preparation for Service Members

Need help preparing for the upcoming Tax Season? ACS has you covered with this Tax Preparation for Service Members.

This Virtual class covers the terminology associated with federal income taxes, the information needed to prepare ones Individual Income Tax Return, and an overview of where figures are entered on IRS Form 1040. The class will include a basic review on what taxes are, a demonstration on the various sections of IRS Form 1040, a discussion on when to update withholdings, and tax preparation resources available. At the conclusion of this class, students will have a basic understanding on how to complete a 1040 Individual Tax Return, as well as where to seek additional assistance.
