Get ready to grow your imagination! This summer, join Army Family & MWR Libraries worldwide for a season of discovery. Whether you’re a young sprout or a seasoned reader, we have free activities and exciting rewards waiting for you.

Getting started is easy! You can register at the library or online via Beanstack.

Pro Tip: This program is for all ages! If your child reads at a different level or prefers prizes from another age group, feel free to register them for the category that fits them best.

Seeds & Spices Library
No registration required. All ages welcome.
Pick up some free seeds or try a new spice from our limited edition, this summer only, seeds and spices library! Located near the front desk at both libraries.

01 June – 30 July, During opening hours, TB & RB
Find the Seed Stuffie!
No registration required. All ages welcome.
Every day at each Library our mascot for this summer will be hiding someplace new! Find the seed stuffie and bring it to the front desk to earn a small reward and to enter the raffle to win the stuffie. Winners announced 31 July!


01 - 13 June, During opening hours, TB & RB
Indoor Community Mural Garden
No registration required. All ages welcome.
Stop by anytime during open hours to craft your own paper flower or garden decorations! Add it to our community “garden” wall or bring home as a keepsake. Crafts available for all ages.


11 June, 11 am – 5 pm, TB & RB
Summer Reading Kickoff: Open Hours
No registration required. All ages welcome.
Stop by anytime between 11 am – 5 pm to complete a craft, play a game, grab a free registration bag, and to ask any questions or to receive assistance on registering for the summer reading challenge.

Stuffed Animal Campout
No registration required. All ages welcome.
Drop off your stuffed friend anytime between 1100-1700 for a camp-out at the library! Pick up the following day (12 June) during open hours with small surprise.

Gardening with Environmental
Registration required. Ages 6+
Learn all about gardening with this hands-on activity with the Environmental Division.


24 June, 12 – 2 pm, RB & 25 June, 12 – 2 pm, TB
Build a Perler Bead Garden
No registration required. Ages 5+
Stop by anytime between 12 – 2 pm to make a Perler bead craft that is garden themed! Various designs and skill levels are available.


27 June, 1 pm, TB
Paper & Pipe Cleaner Bouquet Craft (Including Book Craft Vase!)
Registration required. Ages 10+
Make your own flower bouquet and vase with this fun up-cycling paper & pipe cleaner craft!


29 June – 04 July, During opening hours, TB & RB
Read & Grow Scavenger Hunt
No registration required. Open to all ages.
Stop by anytime during open hours during this week to participate in our Scavenger Hunt. Just stop by the front desk at either library to get started!

EFMP Planting Your Goals
Registration required. Ages 6+
Learn about goal setting with EFMP while planting your own spider plant that you’ll take home with you after!

Escape Room: Case of the Stolen Plant (Family-Friendly)
Registration required. Open to all ages.
Participate in our family friendly escape room activity! Solve puzzles together to crack the Case of the Stolen of the Stolen Plant. Here is the scenario: Every year your town holds a contest for Best Plant during the local fair, and this year is YOUR year. Then disaster strikes, and your plant goes missing! It’s up to you and your family & friends to find the plant and bring it back before the judging begins.

Sensory Play Garden
No registration required. Open to ages 0-6.
Join us for a special sensory play event, which includes multiple garden themed stations that invite your kiddos to play with & learn about their various senses.

Outdoor Storytime with Environmental
No registration required. Open to all ages.

31 July, 12 – 4 pm, TB
Summer Fun Fair (End of Summer Reading Party)
No registration required. Open to all ages.
Join us at the Tower Barracks Library anytime between 12-4 pm to participate in our end of Summer Reading Fun Fair celebration! Various crafts, games, activity stations, temporary tattoos, and more!
